Assalamu’alaikum wr. wb.
The honorable of Jury
And Dear my friend who participaties in this speech contest

In the name of Allah

All praises be to Allah SWT, the lord of the world, the master of the day after, the creator of everything in this Universe, where just the one. Allah has given us 50th deeply enjoyable, particularly faith and healthy comfort, hence, we could attend here in a good situation.

Indeed, it is very great pleasure for me inn this precious chance to deliver my speech to the most honorable audiences entitled : “How to preserve our culture against K-POP and western culture.”

What do you feel when people taking about you’re not understand on it. If just once, its OK ! How about twice ? Three times ? over and over again ? what would you do ? it’s really uncomfortable time, right !
Culture is an important factor in everyone’s life. In order to keep it alive, it’s time for us to preserve our culture.

There are the way to preserve our culture against K-POP and western culture :
1.       Language
Some people who are K-POP or western lover be able to speak Korean or English fluently.
But, the ironit one is, people can’t speak his mother language.
Are you know the benefit from being able to speak your mother language ? that is when you go outside, nobody will be able to eaves drop on your pribate conversation.
For example : when we ask, “Bade angkat kamana, bu ?” to sundanese people, they understands and will answer it. But if there’s a Javanese, Korean, Western people asked like that, they not necessarily understand and be able to answer. This is an exemplary case, the delivery of subject. In karannganyar district uses the Java language every Wednesday. It’s for their student compertension Bandung do the same, not only for student, bt also government agenciest mus speak Sunda language in every Wednesday too. However, not effective yet.
2.       Share
Share our tradition to our friend, cousin, niece, nephew, and for the next generation. It’s useful for preserving our culture, right ? even though, in this era is full of Korean and Western culture. It can’t mis with our culture which is unique.

3.       Fashion Style
Maybe, K-POP and Western culture lover very proud and happy for using their fashion style.
But, in contrast seen here is is, every Thursday, students who are attend school in solo are wearing traditional dresses. So, what conclusion about them ? just reply for yourself,
4.       Festivals
Attending our country’s nasional festival helps us to see more our tradition. It also helps you make new friend. If you live in a foreign country, having a gathering with your ethnit community is a fabulous ide.
And sometimes, ticket for attending national festivals are cheaper than contest.
Remember this quotes, “Don’t love anything excessive”.
And Rasullulah SAW hadits, “Don’t love something excessively, because it could be tomorrow that you love become you hate most. And don’t hate something excess, because tomorrow could be something that you love most.
It doesn’t mean not to accept the enter culture like North Korea in the past.
Local culture is for balancing with another culture which is come.
Before ending this speech, let me conclude the essential points of my speech :
1.       Because of culture is an important factor in everyone’s life, so it’s time for us to preserve our culture.
2.       The way to preserve our culture against K-POP and western culture, are:
a.       You must proud with your mother language if us is sundanese language
b.      Share our tradition to the next generation
c.       Proud and happy for wearing traditional dresses
d.      Attending our country’s national festivals
I think it’s completely enough for me to this point. The wrong utterances are caused by limitation of my ability and the right are is merely from Allah SWT. So, i beg your pardon, finally I say
Wassalamualakum warahmatullahiwabarakatuh.
